Hotel Features
Located in the Oosterpark, Hotel Arena is located in the upcoming eastern part of Amsterdam. Guests can enjoy food and drinks with a view at café- restaurant PARK. Furthermore, Hotel Arena offers a terrace, creative studios for meetings and an old chapel for events. The city center is a 10-minute walk. The hotel is located in a historic building that once functioned as an orphanage and nursing-home. Rooms at Hotel Arena come with high ceilings, large windows, sloping walls, wooden beams and original ornaments. All rooms are different but each room has a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, seating area and private bathroom. The hotel offers 24-hour reception, free WiFi, bicycle rental and a host who can share various local tips during your stay. The hotel's entrance is accessible via the Oosterpark. Parking is available for a surcharge in the underground garage. Several trams stop around the corner and offer connections to main attractions such as Museum Square (1.7 mi), Leidseplein (1.7 mi), Rembrandtplein (1.2 mi) and the Dam Square (1.6 mi).

Great location and it was...
- What did you like most?The property was lovely, with a beautiful park at the entrance. It was close to transport links and quite peaceful. The staff were lovely, the room and bathroom was clean even though there were some stains on the bedroom carpet. It had a had a decent hair dryer in the property, not a small one in the bathroom.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The room had steep stairs which could be noisy and a bit difficult to go down. The soaps/shower gel, hooks and railings in the bathroom were placed quite high up, which made it inconvenient to use, especially for short people (like me). The split between the bathroom and living room is not very thick, with the glass door having gaps which doesn’t give a lot of privacy. The TV was not a Smart TV so not able to unwind watching Netflix or any streaming site after a day out. The pillows and bed were quite soft. No space in the mini fridge to store your own items, and due to sensors in the fridge it was difficult to move stuff around.
